Corn Kernel of Faith

First Fruits Tithing
Testimony

First, I must explain. Last Saturday, June 11th, my rear car brakes began to squeak loudly. At first, dread filled my heart, while my mind meditated on why the brakes were squeaking, how long can I wait before going to the car service shop and how much is this brake work going to cost me? Oh, by the way....where am I going to get the money to pay for this new expense? I almost got aggrivated, but then quickly remembered my new year's motto: "Don't worry about it, it's not my problem, it's the Lord's and He will work it out". Therefore, I put a smile on my face and continued on my way to my mother's house....squeaking all the way, determined not to borrow any money.
My sisters and I thank God, in Jesus Name, for the Life Changing message from the Lord, delivered by Brother George Guy last week. By being obedient and fully trusting the Lord Jesus Christ, we put the Lord's words into action. We prayed the prayer of faith over our Corn Kernels and tithed the First Fruits as instructed. As soon as I received my pay stub, because I have direct deposit, I wrote out my Tithe Check FIRST before paying any of my bills. As a faithful tithe payer, it just took a little adjustment within my Accounts Payable schedule, to correct my tithes. You see, tithes were on my list of payables as third place and written out last. Now I have elevated tithes to the number one position with a joyful heart. That was last Thursday evening (3 nights ago).
Yesterday, my sisters and I arrived to the church to clean and those brakes started squeaking again. Dread tried to grip my heart again, but I stomped it to bits repeating my motto: "Don't worry about it, it's not my problem, it's the Lord's and He will work it out". Even though I have only $175 left on my credit card and $8 available in my savings. Well, I had lots of fun cleaning the church with my sisters and Sis. Dee Carey.
Later yesterday afternoon, while taking a 2 hour nap break, my sister, Terry, comes barging into my room yelling about a check in my name that was in her hands. Remaining calm, I just knew it was one of those fake sweepstakes checks and she was playing a joke. However, she assured me the check was from John Hancock and not a fake.
I ripped open that envelope and it contained a REAL check for $1600!!!! The $1600 was left over funds from my last job's benefit package. I told her, I am getting on my knees right now and Praising the Lord. While on my knees, she came barging back into my room, screaming that she received an $800 check from her benefit package. I screamed and she screamed as we fell across my bed. It's true! It's true! Of course the Lord's Word is TRUE, but it's also TRUE for me.
The insurance check is being tithed before being deposited.
Praise the Lord!
